I’m a huge gamer and a fan of Nintendo, but this guy took his devotion to the next level. Instead of settling for a permanent tattoo of an iconic Nintendo character or symbol, blogger metal_games, went the scarification route, and etched the NES remote into his leg. For those who are unaware of scarification, it’s a painful body modification technique where a person is literally “scarred” to create a design or pattern.
In this case, an image of the NES controller was cut into the skin of his leg and portions of his flesh was removed to complete the design. Ouch!

“Starting with the lines, the pain wasn't half as bad as I'd expected. In fact, it was a breeze for the most part. It took Jeffrey, the artist, about 20 minutes to cut all the lines. A couple of deep breaths, and we went straight on to removing the skin. I wasn't looking forward to that, but again, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.”
