Green Lantern Movie *Update*

SciFiwire.com recently spoke with “Green Lantern” screenwriter Marc Guggenheim about the progress of the film. While he was unable to reveal specific details regarding the plot, he did confirm “that his script will focus on Hal Jordan, based on the Silver Age DC Comics incarnation of the superhero, and how he became a member of the Green Lantern Corps.”

Green Lantern is expected to hit theaters June 17, 2011.
