As we expected, Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers won Game 5 of the 2009 NBA Finals Championship, defeating the Orlando Magic last night, in a 99 - 86 victory. This championship marks the ending of Kobe’s seven year quest for Gold since the departure of Shaquille O'Neal.

“I don’t have to hear that criticism, that idiotic criticism anymore,” said Bryant, the finals MVP. “It was annoying.”
