Hot off the heels of his critically acclaimed blockbuster flick “Star Trek”, director J.J Abrams has announced that he is on-board as producer for the next Tom Cruise action flick “Mission Impossible: 4”. While this is great news for the franchise, the question of will direct the fourth installment is still in up-in-the-air.

"I am incredibly honored that Tom has invited me back as a producer on 'Mission: Impossible 4,'" said Abrams. "Tom and I have come up with a really cool idea we are pursuing," he added.
