Despite defeating Randy Orton for the WWE Championship, reports are coming in that Batista has sustained a torn biceps muscle prior to last nights pay-per-view. Why the company decide to award Batista the strap is beyond us, but we’re guessing this will all be unveiled during tonight's Monday Night Raw.

This week, Batista will undergo surgery and is expected to sit the sidelines for a while.
