Checkout this little gem from the far east! Japanese Spiderman is a mix of Spiderman, Power Rangers, and every other crazy Japanese television show mixed together. If you thought Xmen Origins Wolverine strayed away from the comic book story line, wait until you feast upon this fine mess.

The 1970’s TV series is so awful and terrible, and features an unbelievable amount of WTF moments, I understand why Japanese Spiderman has become such a cult classic. Even I have to admit, the show is a blast to watch.

Japanese Spiderman Episode: 1

The first episode of the TOEI-produced Japanese "Spiderman" TV series sees motorcycle racer Takuya Yamashiro gain the powers of Spider-Man! With his new powers and the help of Marveller, he transforms into Leopardon in order to defeat Professor Monster and his evil Iron Cross Army.

"Mysterious World! The Man Lives to Fate." When a train suspiciously overturns, Takuya [Spiderman] believes Professor Monster and the Iron Cross Army are responsible, while flashbacks reveal the tragic details surrounding Garia's arrival on Earth and the transfer of power to Takuya.
