This week, Sony announced two major milestones for both its free-to-play PSN gaming service and the virtual world PlayStation Home. PSN has officially reached 20 million registered users and PlayStation Home has opened its doors to 4 Million gamers since its 2008 debut. While these are impressive numbers which topple Microsoft’s 17 Million active Xbox Live user base, it should be mentioned that Sony’s PSN numbers include every user who has registered for a PSN account, while Microsoft counts only the active gamers on their network for that particular month.
