Today CVG is reporting an announcement by EA CEO John Riccitiello, claming that the sequel to the Xbox 360 exclusive Mass Effect will appear on "multiple platforms” in early 2010. The Mass Effect franchise was once published by Microsoft Gaming Studios, but now that BioWare is under the EA umbrella, it is highly likely Mass Effect 2 will show up on the PC but more surprisingly the Playstation 3. While this is not confirmed and only speculation, judging by past EA releases, Mass Effect 2 may be “pimped” onto the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, Nintendo DS and PSP.
