This past summer, Lionsgate partnered with nine prestigious arts schools nationwide in THE SPIRIT Art School Program, through which nine student-designed advertising campaigns for the upcoming film THE SPIRIT were created.
Located in downtown LA, in the midst of a lot of construction, the students at The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandise have come up with a great way to exploit this by creating a banner – featuring a black and white silhouette of THE SPIRIT standing in front of palm trees, very symbolic for Los Angeles – hanging on from a large construction crane!
The crane is located at the Holiday Inn 1020 S. Figueroa Street and will hang the banner 80-120ft in the air until 12am midnight tonight so be sure to check it out if you’re in the area. In addition to this one day stunt, the 20’ x 30’ banner will hang in the lobby of FIDM for all the students, faculty, and guests to view.
If you are in the area send us some pictures or a video and we’ll post them on the site. Click Here to submit your stuff.
