Metal Gear DLC Corrupts Little Big Planet Game Data?

That oh-so wonderful LBP Metal Gear Solid DLC pack we reported on a few weeks back has apparently done more harm that good for some Little Big Planet players. Player complaints range from losing the ability to save games and the loss of downloaded content and other random bugs. Media Molecule has not released a statement regarding this issue.
