If you had to give up sex for an hdtv or the use of the internet would you? Two recent surveys polled both men and women about this very matter. A recent survey this year conducted by Comet on Britons found that almost 50% of the men polled would give up sex for 6-months, if they were given a 50-inch Plasma hdtv.
In another non-related survey conducted by Intel and Harris Interactive, they found nearly 46% of their female responders would rather sex for two weeks, than give-up their internet access.
I think two weeks is a plausible scenario to give up sex. But if I had to give up sex for six months…….my life would turn into the Heroes season 1 finale: “How to Stop an Exploding Man”.
