Remember the game Eight Days, it was announced during the unveiling of the PS3 during E3 2005. It featured a gang of bandits having a shoot-out at a small diner in the middle of a desert. Well unfortunately, Eight Days has been canceled as of June 08, but it’s technology is still in the wild. Someone needs to grab a hold of this awesome cover system, which makes Gears of War’s great cover system, look like a joke.

Unfortunately, the game got canned on June 4th of this year. SCE President Shuhei Yoshida explained that it was primarily the lack of an online mode that killed Eight Days and not any failure in production.
