Yes Mr. Heston, we can finally agree. We too would hate to see Electronic Gaming Monthly disappear from magazine stands. I remember growing up and reading EGM as a child, like many other gamers. EGM has been a reliable source of gaming information for almost two decades. But alas, we all may have to say farewell to our paper backed friend. Bathroom breaks will never be the same.

Seven production, circulation and advertising employees will be cut as a result of the move, out of a total of about 140 who work on PC Magazine and PCMag.com. Mr. Young said the company was considering taking its other print magazine, the video-game publication Electronic Gaming Monthly, into an online-only format, but would not make a decision before the end of the year.
I really hope Ziff Davis reconsiders; losing EGM would be like losing a longtime gaming buddy. Can’t GamePRO somehow push EGM aside and take this bullet. It would be the right thing to do. Wait, is GamePRO still around?
